The hardware press is in a strange phase: the incumbents are hollowing out, the practitioner forums know more than the writers do, and the vendors have learned that they can publish marketing as benchmarks if no one is paid full-time to call it. The opportunity for a small site is to read the room — actually read it — and translate. That's the whole job.
