Digit is the humanoid that quietly graduated from pilot to production. Built by Agility Robotics for tote handling and AMR-to-conveyor work in existing warehouse layouts — no facility redesign required. The November 2025 milestone at GXO's Flowery Branch site puts it ahead of every other Western humanoid on actual logged work.
The torso houses two multi-core CPUs with a modular payload bay that can host a third. Arms run a four-DoF configuration optimized for grasping and stacking plastic totes rather than dexterous manipulation — a deliberate scope choice that lets Agility ship.
Status, checked 2026-09-24: on 2026-06-24 Agility agreed to go public through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI (Nasdaq: CCXI) at a $2.5 billion pre-money equity value; the combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq as AGLT after a close Agility expects in the fourth quarter of 2026. Agility says Digit has logged more than 65,000 hours across nine customer facilities, naming Schaeffler, GXO, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada and Mercado Libre. On 2026-09-15 it unveiled Digit 5, rated for 50 lb (22.7 kg) lifts with a 90-minute battery that recharges in 9 minutes; early access is planned for the first half of 2027.
