The robot is driven by Sanctuary's in-house Carbon control system, which the company describes as a cognitive architecture intended to map perception, memory, planning, and motor control to a single decision loop. Sanctuary is headquartered in Vancouver. The Phoenix line has continued to iterate (a Gen7 platform has since been referenced on the company's site), but Phoenix Gen6 remains the publicly documented configuration with full published specifications.
